Mrs. Kantha Mani, wife of Mr. Venugopala Rao, retired District and Sessions Judge of Andhra Pradesh. She has written a cookery book in Telugu titled “ KANTHAMANI VANTAKALU”, in 1982. the book had so much response that it was subsequently reprinted and reached a sale of about 50,000 copies. Her books are not only popular in India but also in US among Andhraits. The writer Mrs. Jagarlamudi Kanthamani was born in Rajamandry in 1940. Her father was Dr. p. Gopala Swamy who won goldmedals at all India level in Ayurvedam.
