Make sure you are not suffering from diabetes, high/low blood pressure or any health problems before you proceed reading with this article. Because, your body will react differently during such conditions and medical advise is absolutely important.

Steps

Understand, there is No quick way to achieve a toned body . If anything it is much harder than loosing weight. I say this because, body toning begins where the weight loss ends.

As it indicates, you must start with a regular gym exercise, atleast 40 minutes a day. I have mentioned a few tips in my article that deals ways to combat the after effects of Pregnancy and Crash Dieting

I have specified the need for weight training in the prescribed exercise routines, becuse this is the secret ingredient in the whole exercising routine that will build lean muscles and tone your body. You can keep the weights low and do them regularly, unless you are training to Kill Bill.
Cardio loosens the body muscles and melts the fat instantly while, weight training taps this opportunity and  tones it . They work hand in hand, must not ignore either of them.

Working on your abs is ths best quick solution. This is an exercise that you can start doing lying on the bed, you can move to a medium hard surface when your core strength improves.Ly down straight , put your hands behind your head and pedal in the air  for about  60 counts. Split them into 3 sets 20- 20- 20 with a break of 5 secs in between.
 
Plus, do the exercise I have mentioned in the Tip2 - Get Flat Tummy while sitting at your desk - 5 minute Therapies Tummy Vaccum as many million times as you can throughout the day around the house, office, bus, shopping etc. Since, you have already activated your abs by doing the first exercise, this acts as a reminder to your body and will not let the abs relax in an attempt to tighten it.

I did not want to do this but, I am so intrigued  so let me share a simple food routine, It is all natural and does not have any side effects . This should  give you a fair idea, to design your food habits.

Breakfast Idea (b/w 7:30 - 8 a.m @ home / office)
 
Baked Egg sandwich.
It takes only  2 mins to make and there is no way you will dislike it.First minute:

  1. Spray some oil on a flat saucer( just about the size of my palm, ideally fits under a coffee cup , it has to be microwave safe).
  2. Take the Egg from the refrigerator, pour it in the middle of the greased saucer.
  3. Pinch the yolk in the middle with a spoon, so it does not splatter inside the microwave.
  4. Sprinkle some pepper on top of the egg.
  5. Keep the saucer/bowl in the middle of the microwave and set the timer to 1 minute

Next Minute or so:

  1. Get a 2 bread slices from inside the refrigerator, plug the toaster in, time it for 30 secs and drop the slice of bread inside.
  2. Use a  knife, and spread butter on my toast ( prefer vegetable spread) .
  3. The egg inside the microwave will now have cooked, so I slide it on top of the buttered side of my bread toast.
  4. Top it with another bread toast to hold  and the Fried Egg sandwich is ready.

Also drink a glass of canned fruit juice (I love watermelon /orange with no sugar) next to it, this will serve you a good healthy start .

Morning Tea Idea (b/w 10 - 11 A.m @office):
 
Fruit / Fruit salad.

Lunch Idea ( b/w 12.30 - 1:30 p.m @ office):
Two/ Three rotis and any indian side dish. This will sufficient because of the 5 breaks you will have.

Evening Tea Idea ( b/w 3:30  - 4 p.m @office):
 
Anything warm, a hot cup of vegetable soup, or a glass of skimmed milk with horlicks or warm milk with a pinch of coffee when I am naughty.

Dinner Idea (b/w 8 - 8:30 p.m @ home): Salad and fish, it is a 20 minutes healthy recipe it is very high in omega 3. You will fill your
 

  1. Salads are  very healthy and easy to make. You have to choose a combination of vegetables that you don't mind eating raw for to chop and mix example : cabbage, lettuce, palak leaves, carrot, onion, tomato, cucumber. To this add a few grapes / pineapple slices.
  2. Grilled fish is super easy to make too. simple get a couple of fish fillets ( i prefer baramundi/flathed/tuna) wash and store them separately in the freezer. Take one out every evening run water on it and keep it straight on pan , spray some oil on the pan  if is not non stick. Allow the fish to cook on medium flame sufficiently, The fish will peel off easily and you will know the side is cooked.  Now roll it over to the other side and cook it again.
  3. Serve yourself some salad on a plate and the fried fish fillet , sprinkle some lemon juice and pepper all over. With a knife and fork your fat blaster dinner is ready.

In between these breaks you must  compulsorily drink atleast 3 litres of water .

A combination of exercises and properly monitored food intake will make sure you get those sexy curves back. Remember people care those who care about themselves, so if you want people to respect you then respect yourself first and commit yourself for a better health.

Good food idea

Hi Mehru,

Your food ideas are simply fantastic. I work in a call centre and am usually busy in the morning hours (most of the time stuck in office). I tried your fried egg sandwich in the office and it was fantastic. I am going to try the dinner idea too. the idea of fruits, soup and simply lunch are awesome as well.

Trust me when I say I understand your situation.
Cooking food will seem like a waste of time while you can drive in to get your favorite meals for the value of a few perks you have earned.

Look at all your senior colleagues who have been in this arena for around 10 years and you will agree not every one is healthy so, quality home made food is your best bet .do everything possible to make kitchen attractive.

I think your recommendation of atleast working on the abs is reasonably fair. I like it . To be true I could do 30 pedals only but I am sue I will improve.
