Oats has Glycemic index of 70. This makes oats one of the healthiest/effective diet to reduce cholesterol. These pancakes are not only helatly, they are delicious too. Enjoy.

Things You'll Need

  1. Quacker Oats                                ½ cup
  2. Cottage cheese/tofu (Soya cheese)  ¼ cup
  3. Egg whites                                     4
  4. Vanilla essence                              1 tsp
  5. Cinnamon powder                           ¼ tsp
  6. Nutmeg powder                              ¼ tsp
  7. Oil as required

Steps

Process oats, cottage cheese, egg whites, vanilla essence, cinnamon and nutmeg in a blender until smooth.

Smear a little oil on non-stick tawa add a ladle full of batter and cook over medium heat until both sides are lightly browned.

Serve with low sugar syrup and fruits like banana slices or straw berry.

Instead of sugar syrup you can heat jaggery (gud) with a little water to pouring consistency and use it.Serves 2

Tips

You can use milk instead of egg whites, if you are a vegetarian.
