How to make Indian Chinese Hakka Noodles

Hakka Noodles is a very popular dish served in Indian Chinese restaurants.  Using this recipe you can prepare delicious Hakka Noodles in less than 10 minutes.

Things You'll Need

  • 2 cups or 1 packet boiled noodles (For noodles follow the directions on the packet)
  • 3 dried red chilies
  • A large pinch of ajinomoto salt
  • 1 small bunch spring onion
  • 1 small capsicum thinly sliced
  • 1 small carrot thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp garlic finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp vinegar
  • Salt to taste
    1 1/2 tbsp oil

Steps

Chop the spring onions into 1/4" pieces slanting. Pound red chilies and garlic coarsely.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in the non stick pan, add chili and garlic and fry for a minute. Add the capsicum and carrot and fry till tender.

Add the spring onion and fry again for 2-3 minutes. Also add noodles and salt and mix well. Now add the ajinomoto and vinegar to taste. Mix well and serve hot.

Tips

  • Use tender and fresh vegetables
  • cooking on high heat will ensure that vegetables retain their colour.
  • Keep ready-made sauces such as garlic chilly sauce handy.
  • Buy a good wok or broad and shallow fryng pan for cooking chinese food.

Caution

  • Use MSG sparingly
  • Remember: vegetables should not be overcooked

Hakka noddles are suppose to

Hakka noddles are suppose to be simple but with tasty meat sauce to bring out the noodles aroma. Btw, there will not be any vegetables in it.
How could this be hakka noddle and let alone an indian hakka noodle?
I'll suggest to give it another name than using hakka.
it's totally 2 complete different thing.

Welll, the hakka noodles that we get in indian restaurants does have vegetables... i dont know about the original one..
