In our busy schedule and strain and stress, we have to give importance  and attention to our children.  Best time to mould our children and teach them the right way of thinking and dealing with people is when they are very young and through stories.

Stories helps them to develop emotionaly, improves their imagination.  Some children are not able to open themselves up or are unable to express themselves in front of others.   As parents or guardians, we have to spend as much time as possible with the child, while doing so we will able to know or understand their problem. We also may not be able to point it out to them or put it in such words as they are able to understand.

But through stories we will be able to bring out the same situation and let them understand what we are trying to tell them, in this way we will be able to build their confidence, emotion, thinking etc.  Stories telling especially before they go to sleep has a deep impact on their little hearts and helps in moulding them into a better being as they grow up. Stories needn't be the ones which are in some story book, one can even take a particular behaviour or emotion which needs to be corrected, and build a story around it and explain it so the child will be able to understand it.

Caution

A child has the habit of questioning each and every thing, so one needs a tremendous amount of patience, hence don't condemn the child or raise your voice to shut the mouth of the child but try and put it in a beautiful way.  Bringing up a child is really a challenging one, It is not we moulding the child but if observe properly it is the other way round.
