How to take care during summer

Hot summer season looming large, every body plans to keep fresh and cool. With a little care you can save yourself from the rising tempertures and tempers.

Steps

add lots of citrus fruits to your diet. Fruits like mangoes and watermelons help to beat the summer heat.

coconut water is  perfect during the summer months. Even plenty of  plain water keeps you cool. Barley water taken as it is or mixed with milk or buteermilk removes the heat out of the body.Yougur and buttermilk are ideal for this season.

water based vegetables like cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, pumpkin, ladyfingers etc are good.

Sunscreen is must and exposure to the sun should be minimal. Sunglasses are also a must while venturing out in the hot day.

Always wear loose cotton clothes.

  • Moisturising the skin is very important.
  • Hygene also is very important during this season. Dust anti-fungal powder in the folds of your skin.
  • Open sandals and chappals are ideal for summer.
  • Use alcohol free deodorants to prevent body odor.

Caution

  • avoid red meat. Prefer fish or sprouts for protein.
  • avoid sythetic dresses and silk sarees during this season.
  • Cut down on coffew and tea
  • Avoid spicy and heavy meals to be healthy.
