How to save yourself from fake agents

Most of the travel agents charge huge amounts to get you a quick visa by using fake documents and other fraudulent measures. You are at loss if you are caught. People who procrastinate the important formalities till the last minute, end up in tight corners by depending upon fake agents.

do ask your agent for the certificate issued by the Ministry of labour, and the authentication logo issued by the International Air Transport Association.
check the qualification, experience and reputation of the agent you are dealing with
do get receipts for your payments
read all the documents you are asked to sign.
do not agree if the agent suggests that you submit fake documents.

- check the expiry date of your passport if already have one, before trying for Visa.
- Make prior enquiries about the procedures and formalities of applying for a new passport, or visa, at least a month before you are due to leave.
