Mummy serves you food while you are watching TV or studying in your room. You are used to servants taking care of all your chores. You have gone abroad for studies or for a job, and you find that you are lost.
With a little planning and determination you can deal with the problem.
Make a daily schedule and stick to it. Get up early even if you have worked late the previous night, attend to all the immediately necessary chores.
you have to tune your mind and accept the fact the house work also forms the part of your life living abroad. Do the dishes and cleaning up on regular basis.
have strict control on your finances. Check your grocery bill and other expenses and cut off whatever is not necessary.
It may save you some money and also relief from the house work, if you share your accommodation with another person.
It is always better to cook your own food which is healthy and economical.

Living alone abroad
For those students who want to or are living abroad...please do not live alone....make sure you have a roomate or housemates living with you....firstly its economical and secondly...its relatively safe to live in groups.

# Do not flash your latest gadget(mobile or i-pods) while travelling...use them when necessary and keep them safely guarded with you
#Your mobiles should be fully charged before leaving home...in case of delays in returning home
# Use well lit up streets to walk back home and avoid short cuts through dark by lanes
