How to make Soy Chilli Chicken

This recipe can be used as a starter or can also be used as a side dish in main course.

Things You'll Need

  1. Chicken 500 grams
  2. Onion 2 sliced
  3. Garlic pods 25
  4. Ginger chopped 2 incles
  5. Green chillies 3-4 slit long
  6. Soya sauce 5-6 tbsp
  7. Tomato ketchup 3-4 tbsp
  8. Garam Masala powder 3-4 tbsp
  9. Red chilli powder 3-4 tbsp
  10. Oil 4-5 tbsp
  11. Haldi 1 tbsp
  12. Salt to taste

Clean chicken, and marinate it with salt, haldi, 2 tbsp garam masala powder, 2 tbsp red chilli powder, 3 tbsp soya sauce, and 2 tbsp cooking oil. keep it aside for about 30 mins.

In a frying pan, add 2 tbsp oil, to this add arns 10 - 15 garlic pods and few ginger pieces, and fry it for a min or two. To this add, the marinated chicken, and allow it to cook till the chicken is soft and tender.

In another pan, add oil, when the oil is heated, add sliced onions, fry it till it turns golden brown.To this add the remaining garlic pods, ginger pieces, slit green chillies and fry it for a minute. Then add, 4-5 tbsp of soya sauce, tomato ketchup and mix it  well.

Now add the shallow fried chicken to this, mix it well, and add the remaining garam masala powder, red chilli powder.  Cook it well for a minute or two. Soy Chilli chicken is ready to be served.
 

Tips

You can use capsicum as well for this recipe.
