Things You'll Need

  1. boneless lamb            -1 kg
  2. chana dal                   -200gms
  3. shahjeera                   1 tsp
  4. cinnamon                   -4/5 sticks
  5. cloves                        -1/4 tsp
  6. cardamoms                -5-6
  7. chilly powder              - 30 gms
  8. turmeric powder          - 1/2 tsp
  9. green chillies              - 5-6
  10. oil                             - as required
  11. salt                           - to taste

For filling

  1. mint                        -1bunch
  2. coriander leaves       - 30 gms
  3. limon                      - 1
  4. medium onions        - 2
  5. curd                        - 1 cup

Steps

mix all the ingredients except oil and add water just enough to cover the meat and cook on medium flame. You can cook in a pressure cooker.

as the cooked meat starts breaking, reduce flame and cook until the mixture is dry.

grind the mixture with curds if required. make equal sixed balls of the mixture.

mix chopped onions,finely chopped mint and coriander leaves and lemon juice with salt to taste.

flatten the mixture ball fill the mint and onion filling, close and faltten the ball like cutlet.. Do like wise with all the balls. Fry the cutlets on hot tawa adding oil as required, till they turn dark brown on both sides.

Serve hot with garnished with  lemon and onions.
