This is a delicious chicken dish that belongs to the Hyderabadi Cuisine. A step by step instruction for preparing the dish is given below.

Things You'll Need

  1. Chicken                         -1 kg
  2. Onions                          - 2
  3. Cumin powder                - 1 tsp
  4. Coriander powder            - 1 tsp
  5. Yogurt                            -1/2 cup
  6. Garam masala powder     - ½ tsp
  7. Ginger garlic paste           - 1 tsp
  8. Green chilies                   -4
  9. Turmeric                         - ½ tsp
  10. Red chili powder               - 1 tsp
  11. Oil                                 -3 tbsp
  12. Coriander leaves             - 1 tbsp
  13. Salt                               - to taste

Steps

Heat oil in a pan and sauté chopped onion for 2 minutes, add chicken pieces, salt to taste and fry for 5 minutes. Cover with a lid and cook for 5 more minutes.

Add

  • garam masala
  • cumin powder
  • coriander powder
  • red chili powder
  • ginger garlic paste
  • slit green chilies
  • turmeric

and mix thoroughly

After some time add beaten yogurt and ½ coriander leaves. Cover with a lid and cook till the gravy thickens and oil leaves the side.

Garnish with coriander leaves.
