how to make Mangoda (Makar Sankranti special)

Mangoda is the north Indian delicious recipe. It is made by moong daal on the occasion of Makar Sankranti.

Things You'll Need

  1. 1 cup moong daal
  2. 100 gram cauliflower  (cut thin pieces)
  3. 100 gram peas (little boiled)
  4. 1 onion (fine chopped)
  5. 1 big size potato (chopped in to small pieces)
  6. ½ table spoon ginger (finely chopped )
  7. Hand full Coriander leaves  (finely chopped)

Steps

Sock moong daal into water for 3-4 hours and grind daal without water for making paste.

In daal pastes mix all other ingredients and add some salt as per your taste.

Make small pakoda of the paste and deep fry in to refined oil or into mustered oil whatever you like.

Serve hot with green chutney or sauce.

Tips

  • At the time of frying pakoda keep your flame very low.
  • If you want you can also add chat masala after frying pakoda.
  • You can use this pakoda with Soft or hard drink.
