This garam masala comes handy in preparing masala curries both vegetarian and non vegetarian and in the preparation of Biryani.

Things You'll Need

  1. Green cardamom seeds        4
  2. Black cumin seeds               2 tsp
  3. Cloves                                1 tsp
  4. Peppercorns                        2 tsp
  5. Cinnamon sticks 1”long        6
  6. Grated nutmeg                    1 gm

Steps

dry roast green cardamom, black cumin, cloves, cinnamon,nutmeg powder and pepper corns on low heat and cool. Grind to a fine powder and pass through a sieve. Store in an airtight container.

Tips

this keeps fresh longer if stored in fridge.
