Chennai Traffic Information System (CTIS) provides you with Train Route and Stop information.
You can select your Origin and Destination Train Stations to get a Train route recommendation. Please note that this site is still
in 'Beta' so it might not work perfectly yet.
Using this site you can also try to get a map of a particular Train route for your travel planning. Use train route maps in case a single route does not cover your travel needs.
Metro Train Timings
Southern Railways has published the Metro Train Timetable their website. Please note that like most govt. websites this information could be outdated. You are better off getting a printed timetable from a Metro Rail Station.
