How to fight the flu with home remedies

The wisest course is to consult a doctor when you find that you have the symptoms of flu i.e. cold, fever, throbbing head, body ache, weakness and cough. Hibernate for two days till the fever subsides and you will be doing others a favor as flu is extremely infectious.

Give the body enough rest as it has to use its energy to fight the infection.

coriander seeds, cumin and ajwain boiled in water and a dose of 20 ml taken every hour gives relief from malaria,  head ache and body pains
basil leaves juice, ginger juice and honey mixed in equal parts relives throat pain.
the decoction of pounded sunflower seeds boiled in water prevents flu.

  • take paracetamol  to bring down temperature.
  • Express gratitude to your care taker, which creates a cheerful and positive atmosphere.
  • Exercise regularly to improve your immune system, after recovery
  • Avoiding habits that hazardous and meditation helps good health
  • take liquid diets like soups, juices to keep the fever down and gain energy

Caution

  • take medicines like paracetamol under physician’s guidance if you have other serious health problem
  • patients with hypertension, heart ailments, spinal problem must consult their doctors before doing any exercises
  • do not cover yourself or close the doors and run the air conditioner which can propagate the fever to others. Let the fresh air come in.
