9TH December is observed world over as a day against corruption.
The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) is active nowadays and per month, not less than two to three corrupt whales are caught in their net. The ACB is sending shivers down the spines of all Govt. Departments.
There will be a restraint on corruption only when the public are aware of various acts and procedures as to how to complaint against a corrupt official.
Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), Central Vigilance Commission (CVC),
CBI and the Lokayuktha are all various departments to control corruption. Though they are actively registering cases against department and officials, they are not able to eradicate corruption.
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) , Water Board, Electricity Board, Police and Revenue departments are notorious
among others.
Due to various loopholes in the acts, the culprits are not being punished severely to create fear in others. Steps are to be taken with active participation form the people, on war footing.
CBI – complaints against, Railways, Postal Dept. , Nationalized and Private Banks, can be submitted to the CBI Office, located in Kothi, HYd. Or Ph; 040-24732762,24732763,2473467.
ACB – complaints against State Govt. Departments only are considered. For written complaints – Director General, Anti Corruption Bureau, M.J. Market, Hyderabad.
Lokayuktha – Central Govt. Departments, few Corporations in the State are not under the jurisdiction of Lokayuktha.
Misuse of funds and corruption in various projects etc. are accepted by Lokayuktha. The complaint form must be duly filled personally and submitted with a DD for Rs. 150/- at the Lokayuktha Office, located near Bashir Bagh flyover.
Proofs pertaining to the complaint,clippings from newspapers and magazines are to be attached with the complaint.
