Regular intake of cholesterol controlling drugs:
- Vrikshamla powder (Garcinia combogia ) 1tsp with water, to be taken 30 mins. before breakfast and lunch. It is also a heart tonic.
- Tulsi powder in the form of decoction is an effective remedy for cholesterol.
- Terminalia arjun bark 1tsp, boiled in 100 ml of milk. Strain and drink. It not only lowers cholesterol but also associated cardiac conditions.
- 2 cloves of Garlic empty stomach every morning, lowers cholesterol and also thins blood, thereby reducing occurance of certain types of cardiac conditions.
- 1tsp of Fenugreek seeds soaked overnight, to be taken in the morning empty stomach.
- 1tsp of raw Ginger juice, thrice a day for a month.
- 1 tsp of Cinnamon powder mixed in honey, checks high cholesterol.
- 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder mixed with honey, twice daily.
- 1tsp of Coriander seeds is boiled in 100 ml of water. strain the decoction and drink.
- 2tsp of Onion juice or 1/2 raw Onion daily is an effective remedy for high cholesterol.
- 1tsp of Thyme boiled in a cup of water. Taken twice a day.
- 1tsp of Drumstick leaves powder, mixed in water. To be taken once a day for 6 months.
- Munch half cup of black currant.
- Strawberries is good high cholesterol. It contains high level of antioxidants, niacin and vitamins which fight against arterial plaques.
- 100gms of Mulberry fruit daily.
- 3-5 Avocado fruits daily. High cholesterol levels reduce in 2 months.
- 1tsp of pomegranate flower juice, honey is added. Taken once a day.
- 50 ml of Bottle gourd juice daily empty stomach.
- 250gms of Brocclli daily.
- 1tsp of Hibiscus flower powder is boiled in one cup of water. Strain and drink. Twice daily for 4-6 months.
- Oats reduce cholesterol, hence can be taken in the form of flakes every morning.
- Include 100gm of Sorghum in your diet.
- 2tsp of Isabghol after meals for three months. It checks high cholesterol effetively.
- 3-4 Bell peppers can be included in diet.
- 1-2 tablets of Spirulina is good for excess cholesterol.
- Cod liver oil capsules can be taken.
- Flax seeds 1tsp daily, is good remedy for high cholesterol.
- 1tsp of Sesame seeds soaked overnight, to be taken in the morning empty stomach daily.
- 5-6 Almonds daily can be munched. For best results, should be taken for 6 months
