  2. Turmeric
  3. Garlic
  4. Cinnamon (Dalchini)
  5. Tulsi

Powder few cinnamon sticks and store in a dry container. Daily drink a concotion of a cup of warm water with a teaspoon of honey and two small pinches of cinnamon powder on empty stomach.

Crush fresh turmeric and boil it in a small vessel of water for five minutes. Inhale this vapor for quick relif from a running nose. Cool this liquid and gargle with this water when tepid. It will ease soreness of throat, often accompanied with cold.

Bite few fresh tulsi leaves first thing in the morning. It builds up your immunity system. You also get relief from the nagging cold.

Crush two or three small garlic pods and a piece of ginger. Boil it in a small vessel of water for five minutes. Sip a teaspoon every hour to reduce cold and associated irritation.

Make a concotion of tamarind pulp, black pepper powder, zeera powder, salt and water. Allow the concotion to boil and simmer for five to seven minutes. Drink a small cup to wase nasal and thorat congestion due to cold.

Tips

  • Rub warm mustard oil on palms and underneath feet. This will prevent occurrence of cold.
  • Include fresh or dried amla in your daily diet. Amla s a rich source of vitamin C and prevents cold and cough.
  • Keep surroundings clean to remain free of cold.
