Here is the receipe to make delicious Gulabi Koftha Curry with leftover Gulab jamun mix. Make a delicious curry and serve with rotis or Palav

Things You'll Need

  1. Mixed vegetables                   - 1 cup
  2. Gulabjamun mix                     - 1 cup
  3. corn flour                               - 2 tbsp
  4. Coriander greenchillies paste   – 1 tbsp
  5. Ginger garlic paste                  – ½ tsp
  6. Grated paneer                        - ½ cup
  7. Garam masala                       - 1 tsp
  8. Salt                                      - taste
  9. Ready made masala paste     - 1 pkt*
  10. Shahjeera                             - ½ tsp
  11. Tej patta                               - 2
  12. Coriander leaves                    -2 tbsp

Steps

mash mixed vegetables,add gulab jamun mix, chillies paste, ginger garlic paste, salt, grated paneer,and ½ tsp garam masala . Mix well and make into lemon sized balls.heat oil and deep fry the kofthas

At the same time heat another pan with 2 tbsp oil and put shahjeera and tej patta and then add the ready made masala and ½ tsp of garam masala and fry. Add 1 cup curds or milk to the mixture.

Add the fried koftas and keep covered for 5 minuits, add a knob of butter , garnish with chopped coriander and serve with rotis.

Tips

  • If ready made masala paste is not available make your own paste.
  • fry 1 chopped onion, 2chopped tomatoes, 1 tbsp cashew add 2 tbsp dhania powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala powder, 1 tsp cumin powder and grind to a smooth paste.

Hi. I have one question about this recipe. It is mentioned Gulan Jamun mix. Do you mean a mash of left over gulab jamuns? or just the flour of the gulab jamun mix that is available in the market?

Gulabi Koftha curry

You can use leftover Gulab jamuns or instant mix. If both are not available, you can use maida and milk powder.
