How to make Muli ( radish)and mung curry

Radish(muli) is good for indigestion and mung dal gives you protein.

Things You'll Need

  1. Radish                         - ½ kg
  2. Green chilies                - 4
  3. Oil                              - 6 tsp
  4. Mustard seeds             - ½ tsp
  5. Sugar                         - 1 tsp
  6. Mung dal                    - ½ cup
  7. Fresh coconut              - ¼ piece
  8. Curry leaves               - 2 sprigs
  9. Garlic pods                 - 4
  10. Salt and turmeric        - as required

Steps

1

wash and grate radish. Soak mung dal in water for ½ hour.

grind coconut and green chilies to a coarse paste.

mix dal with grated radish add salt and turmeric and leave aside for ½ hour.

grind coconut and green chilies to a coarse paste.

heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds,curry leaves and garlic pods and then add the mung, radish mixture,  keep covered till cooked. Sprinkle the coconut green chili mixture
and remove from fire.

Sprinkle the coconut green chili mixture and remove from fire.
