Lack of valuable content- People turn up to YouTube for enjoyment, education or may be they might be getting bored out there and want some change. Why not provide the viewers some valuable content so they don't feel that you just wasted their time. Just do some research on the topic you are about to post and your viewers will definately like it.

Improve networking- Why not link your YouTube account with your facebook, twitter etc. Grow your network, let your twitter followers know what you are upto. Facebook friends will get your new uploads/posts on your and their wall. It's easy just got to youtube and check it. :-)

Duration of the videos- No one is interested in the video that goes for more than 5 minutes unless it is some kind of an exceptional video. So why not keep your videos short and full of valuable content. Try to stick to 2- 4 min's (Good stuff comes in small packages).

Communicate- Always thank your viewer who drops you a line or comment for their time. Do not involve yourself in any kind of negative conversation, it's a social networking site to share ideas and views not any kind of political stage to exchange harsh words.

Source of information- Do provide the source of information so that your viewers can go back and digg the full content.
